How to call Java Implementation from a C# stepper?

May 31, 2009 at 11:41 PM

Hi,

I have a C# model for a Java implementation and would like to test the IUT with NModel. However, I didn't find a documentation which descrives such a use, Can you please give some hints?

You have to write a stepper in C# as usual, but this one must invoke actions in a Java implementation.   So you need to find out how to call Java methods from C#.   I've never done this myself.  I just Googled "Call Java from C#", there are many hits, for example:

 http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/csharpgeneral/thread/c35e7585-0eae-4510-8621-3342c47c837d

Google "Call Java from .NET" turns up some different hits.

Hi,
I have a C# model and VJ# implementation (originally it is a Java implementation). The original implementation contains assert statements. The Visual Studio 2005 gives errors in assert statements. Is there any way to enable assertion with VJ#? Their forum seems to be nonexistent.

Sorry, I have no experience with VJ#.
